10 Bad Habits to Leave in 2017!

1. Sleeping in/Laziness

The early bird gets the worm is too cliche, but it’s definitely true. When do you have time to work on yourself if you’re always working for someone else?

Wake up early, plan your day. Focus on yourself and your wellbeing. Laziness is going to keep you stagnant. Laziness has no place in 2018. Time waits for no one and laziness is a waste of time.

2. Junk food

You are what you eat. If you eat junk, you’ll be junk. Not to sound harsh. The more fruits and veggies you eat, the healthier you’ll feel and the more your body will appreciate it. People are always asking me to help them lose weight but won’t change their eating habits.

Clean eating is the KEY to losing weight and being healthy. You can’t feed your body fast food and expect to lose weight fast. With the new vegan phase, there are so many healthy recipes out there. I’ll be bringing more of them to this site and to my YouTube channel. We’ll get there in 2018.

3. Not working out

“Oh I’ll do it tomorrow…” Next thing you know it’ll be 2019. Start today! It only takes 30 minutes of GOING HARD to get you where you want to be. Your physical health is detrimental to your mental health.

Working out helps me build energy and endurance. It helps me get active for the rest of the day. And you know that good feeling you get once you’re done… I love that feeling. Do it for yourself.

4. Making excuses

Excuses never get anyone ahead. There are people who want the same thing you do, and they’re getting closer to what they want because they aren’t making excuses. Excuses only hold you back from you doing what needs to be done. Leave those in 2017, please.

5. Skipping breakfast

Breakfast gets your mind working. Even if it’s fruit, please have breakfast. We should be eating 5 times a day. If you know me, you know I live by this! I’ll go over more details on great breakfast ideas next week on this blog.

6. Being stressed

Too blessed to be stressed! I know certain situations can be stressful. But there’s no need to stress. Pray about it and let it go. Stress is a key pillar in heart attacks and strokes. Don’t let any situation get your blood pressure up. It’s not worth it. We take small things for granted. The fact that you can see and read this blog right now is a blessing. The fact that you can comprehend and understand is a blessing. See everything as a blessing.

7. Not focusing on goals/ Being comfortable

Comfort can be comfortable and comforting. Change can be uncomfortable. If you lose focus on your goals, you’ll be comfortable and may never reach your fullest potential. Get uncomfortable, make things move.

8. Ignoring financial stability

Your financial stability is important to your overall well being. Don’t overspend on credit cards. My main point here is to make it clear to pay off credit cards. Take credit cards out of your wallet and don’t use them. It’s the circle of debt.

9. Neglecting skin care

Your skin is your biggest organ! Make sure you’re using products that help you improve your skin. Use lotion, oils, whatever works best for you! Along with skin care, drink more water! More water = clearer skin and less breakouts. #MoreWater2018

10. Not texting back/Calling people back

Life is short. If someone calls you or sends you an email or text, be sure to respond. As long as the relationship is healthy. Healthy relationships are important to build in 2018. Keep building bridges, don’t burn them. Unless absolutely necessary…

Let’s start this year off right and keep it up! Just want to encourage and get you motivated. Let’s work! This is our year!
